School’s Out Tracking Time at Schiff Nature Center on Monday
Looking for something to do on Presidents’ Day? Schiff Nature Center in Mendham is hosting a School’s Out program called Tracking Time which will explore nature trails and look for signs of animals. Discover signs of foxes, squirrels, deer and turkeys as you walk through the woodlands of Schiff on Monday, February 17. Wear warm clothes and sturdy warm boots for an easy hike on the trails followed by indoor crafts and games for ages 6-12.

The preserve’s mission is to acquire and preserve open space, serve as a model of environmental and educational stewardship, and improve the ecological value of natural areas using best management practices. They maintain an active nature center open to the public for environmental education, research and passive recreational activities consistent with the preservation of natural areas.
