No doubt there will be dancing in the streets on Saturday, August 10 when the Chester Music Festival takes over this historic downtown. From 11am to 5pm, this free event features a variety of musicians and bands on two main stages.
The day’s headlining bands are Frontiers, a Journey tribute band, and Diamonds of the Moon, a Pink Floyd tribute band. Additional performances on the schedule include Blue Country, Dirty Blonds, Not Enough Jeffs, The Mike Esposito Experience, The Big Bend and The Trevor B. Power Band.
Sponsored by the Historic Chester Business Association, the festival offers music fans an opportunity to experience a summer day of classic live rock, folk and country music, plus entertainment, food and the chance to explore all that historic Chester has to offer.
Bring your lawn chairs and shades to enjoy the festival. There will be free off-site parking at Dickerson/Bragg School (located at 250 State Route 24 in Chester) with free shuttle service to downtown.
The Chester Music Festival is just one of the events that make living in this part of the state special. For more information about living in Chester, luxury homes for sale in Morris County or luxury real estate in New Jersey, contact Turpin at 877-788-7746.
